The STAIRS, (Stakeholders Together Adapting Ideas to Readjust Local Systems to Promote Inclusive Education) project contributes to the enhancement of the acquisition of knowledge, understanding and ownership of fundamental values of those professionals who deal with disadvantaged youngsters by promoting the mutual respect and intercultural dialogue and combating discrimination on all grounds. The consortium led by Tempus Public Foundation with 6 partners from 6 countries intends to identify and synthesize innovative approaches from high performing countries in the field of professional protocols that help to foster equity and inclusion. Through composing the set of criteria of good practices it is going to be possible to identify effective methodologies that help policy development with the potential of long-term impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of education and training, and the related social systems.
